Becky Bremser

East Bay Regional Park District has selected Becky Bremser to assume the role of Chief of Land Acquisition. Ms. Bremser comes to the Park District previously serving as the Director of Land Protection for Save the Redwoods League, San Francisco. Ms. Bremser has experience with both large and small non-profit conservation organizations and brings over 25 years of experience in land conservation. She will begin in her role on January 29.

Ventura County Employees’ Retirement Association has selected Amy Herron to assume the role of Retirement Administrator. Ms. Herron comes to the Association previously serving as the Chief Operations Officer for the Ventura County Employees’ Retirement Association. Ms. Herron has a broad skillset in areas of governmental leadership, accounting, financial operations, and information technology and brings over 25 years of management experience. She will begin in her role on January 16.

The City of San Jose has selected Katherine Brown to assume the role of Assistant Director of Public Works. Ms. Brown comes to the City previously serving as the Interim Assistant Director of Public Works. Ms. Brown has developed a deep understanding of public works operations, budget management, and community engagement and brings over 8 years of management experience. She will begin in her role on January 16.

Arlee Young

AC Transit has selected Arlee Young to assume the role of Assistant Director of Transportation. Ms. Young has been with AC Transit for over 15 years, starting as a Transit Office Manager and promoting into new roles over the years. She has started in her new role in January.

David Kelly

Utah Transit Authority has selected David Kelly to assume the role of Labor Relations Officer. Mr. Kelly comes to the Utah Transit Authority previously serving as the Assurance-Quality Improvement/Data Analytics Director for Toiyabe Indian Health Project. Mr. Kelly has constructing and interpreting complex financial models to facilitate in-depth analysis and brings over 12 years of experience fostering collaborative relationships between employees and management. He will begin in his role on January 8.

Zachary Thomas

Utah Transit Authority has selected Zachary Thomas to assume the role of General Manager of Commuter Rail. Mr. Thomas comes to the Utah Transit Authority previously serving as the Acting General Manager of Commuter Rail for Utah Transit Authority. Mr. Thomas is familiar with all aspects of the FrontRunner service unit from regulatory, personnel, training, dispatch, budgetary, maintenance, MOW, Union Pacific coordination, and the future Strategic Double Tracking project and brings over 20 years of experience in the railroad industry. He will begin in his role on January 8.

Troy Bingham

The City of Safford has selected Troy Bingham to assume the role of Finance Officer. Mr. Bingham comes to the City previously serving as the Comptroller for the Utah Transit Authority. Mr. Bingham has implemented automated processes, responded to numerous federal findings and audits with corrective action plans, and implemented corrections that improved compliance and brings over 20 years of management experience. He will begin in his role on January 02.

Brian Green

The City of Aurora has selected Brian Green to assume the role of Director of Operations – Parks, Forestry, & Open Space Natural Resources. Mr. Green comes to the County previously serving as the Open Space and Natural Resources Division, Manager for the city of Aurora. Mr. Green brings over 28 years of management experience. He will begin in his role on January 1.
