The Colorado Judicial Department is seeking a Director of Human Resources. The Director reports to the State Court Administrator and serves on the Executive Leadership Team. The Director has 4 direct reports including the Total Compensation Manager, Employee Relations Manager, Risk Management/HRIS, and the ADA/Criminal History Coordinator/SCAO Analyst. The ideal candidate is a seasoned and collaborative human resources leader with a commitment to creating and retaining a diverse and inclusive work environment. With a proven track record for valuing and building relationships, the ideal candidate will take the time to listen and help move this resilient and high functioning team and organization forward by rebuilding trust while reviewing and enhancing HR systems, processes, policies, and tools where needed. The new director must be a strong, engaged, and compassionate manager demonstrating political savvy, psychological toughness, and flexibility in a complex and autonomous environment. Competitive candidates will have demonstrated experience fostering a culture of teamwork and possess a broad knowledge of human resources functions and services.
