Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District is seeking an Executive Director Human Resources. The ideal candidate will appreciate being in a ‘can do’ organization that is open to ideas and giving employees room to try and make them work. Our next human resources leader will embrace public service as the cornerstone of our business model. The selected candidate would ideally have experience and comfort working directly with elected officials. Our transit district has undergone dramatic workplace migrations and transformations over the past year. As we reopen and enter a new era of operations, our next Executive Director must be a step ahead of the human resources curve and therefore readily familiar with the concept of change driver. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in managing complex and novel people-centric challenges, ready to execute plans on rebuilding our workforce, teleworking, vaccination policies, and nimble rollouts of evolving public health mandates.
