Ventura County Employees’ Retirement Association is accepting applications for their Retirement Administrator position. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly ethical professional possessing outstanding interpersonal, technical, and management skills. He/she will be able to immediately assume a leadership role and have a track record of maintaining strong teams and engaging staff for maximum development. The next Administrator will build and maintain trust, mutual respect, and close working relationships with the Board of Retirement, County executive team, and a myriad of external stakeholders. A ‘working administrator’ adept at decision-making and establishing clear roles and responsibilities who also possesses the ability to navigate the conflicts and differences of opinion that can arise in the public arena is essential in this role.
