‍Frederick County is seeking a Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer. The County is committed to embracing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), to better serve their residents and honor the contributions of the County workforce. The Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer leads this work by managing Frederick County’s overall DEIB strategy through hands-on education, analysis, and action. The position serves as the County’s subject matter expert regarding DEIB, provides direct training and programming, serves as a partner to other DEIB champions, and serves as a key liaison to County and community stakeholders. The Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer serves as a catalyst for effective and visible organizational and community change, requiring high-level strategic and practical business acumen, quickly translating broad vision into concrete and impactful action. This position displays strong executive and change leadership to support equity-informed planning, decision-making, and a culture of empowerment.​​​​​​​
