The County of Madera is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to manage its Behavioral Health Services Department. This role oversees mental health, substance use, adult and children’s services, and community education and prevention programs. You will guide policy development and collaborate with County departments, external agencies, and the public to create a lasting impact on the community’s mental health and wellness.
As Director, you will manage comprehensive care systems, ensure regulatory compliance, develop and administer department budgets, and provide leadership to a dedicated team of professionals. You’ll also play a critical role in representing the department before the Board of Supervisors and various public and private groups.
