Employee Mental Health is crucial and May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Before the pandemic, the CDC projected that in any given year, 1 in 5 employed adults in the U.S. would experience a mental health issue. Since the beginning of the pandemic, that number has changed to 1 in 3. The pandemic, and its associated stressors, has lead to an previously unforeseen global mental health crisis. Working adults are experiencing increased levels of stress, anxiety and depression.

This month’s webinar will focus on how mental health issues affect our ability to function at home and in the workplace, the stress associated with working through a pandemic and the possible return to working in the office. Our panel of experts will share valuable insights about managing mental health challenges and share ways to continue to cope with the stressors of working through the third year of the pandemic.

The discussion will include:

  • Recognizing the signs of when you or someone else needs help for stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, etc.
  • Developing strategies for helping ourselves and others who are struggling with their mental health.
  • Learning how to ask for help and seeking mental health resources for employees and how to provide compassion and support in the workplace.
  • Strategizing ways to normalize conversations around mental health and seeking proper assistance.
