The Delta Protection Commission is seeking a highly collaborative Executive Director, with extensive experience working with or in California’s water agencies, local governments or natural resources agencies. The Executive Director reports to a 15-member Commission and manages eight dedicated team members. In this hands-on position the Executive Director exercises adept skills at regulatory and public meeting proceedings; and building community and stakeholder consensus. Aside from technical knowledge of land use planning or water management, conservation, recreation and agricultural operations, the Executive Director will hold a deep commitment to the protection and health of the West Coast’s largest estuary, the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta in California.
