Coastside County Water District is seeking an Assistant General Manager – Finance and Administration (AGM). The AGM plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs all District financial and administrative functions, including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, billing, rate administration, customer service, human resources, and information technology. The position provides highly complex administrative and professional support to the General Manager. The successful candidate must be able to analyze and implement policy directives and to develop, oversee, and implement projects and programs in a variety of areas. The AGM serves as the principal financial officer of the District. The ideal candidate is an administrative generalist with the capacity to pivot between finance, human resources, IT, and capital planning and project management; has excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others to excel; exceptional organizational and project management skills; and able to make sound decisions and recommendations. A background in public administration of water or wastewater utilities is preferred, but not required.
