Are your job descriptions as accurate as they could be? In this webinar, we will discuss the essential elements of a job description and how to gather that information through job analysis. Then we will learn some basic methods for translating job analysis results into the language of a job description, such as developing a few key duties and competencies from lists of tasks and knowledge, skills, and abilities; determining which duties should be considered essential and which are marginal; and differentiating between minimum and preferred qualifications.
Please note that CPS HR does not go through the pre-approval process for re-certification credit hours for HRCI or SHRM. However, participants are encouraged to manually submit their attendance details, as our sessions are generally eligible for recertification credits. Click here for our tip sheet on re-certification.
