The IT Analyst IV – Software Engineer – Power Apps role focuses on designing and developing business applications using Microsoft’s Low Code/No Code Power Platform technologies. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, lead proof-of-concept efforts, and create solutions using tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Logic Apps. The position requires independently identifying opportunities to modernize or refactor existing applications using the Power Platform, including leveraging Dataverse for data storage. While part of a broader software engineering team that primarily works with Microsoft technologies, this position will serve as a lead resource for Power Platform development.
As an IT IV– Software Engineer – Power Apps, you will take the lead in developing applications using the Power Platform for the County. The ideal candidate has at least three years of combined experience developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, with hands-on expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, and Dataverse. They should be familiar with Logic Apps and have a working knowledge of the Azure Cloud environment. Experience developing in C# and ASP.NET is a plus. The candidate will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team and is expected to provide mentorship and technical leadership in Power Platform development. They should demonstrate strong initiative, an ability to translate business needs into application prototypes, and a passion for leveraging Low Code/No Code tools to drive business transformation.
