Reporting to the Fire Chief, the Fire Marshal manages a broad portfolio of life safety, fire prevention, code compliance, and public education initiatives. You’ll oversee inspections, plan reviews, investigations, and work closely with town leadership, developers, and the public to ensure a safe and resilient built environment.

This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and practical engagement, providing leadership to a dedicated team while remaining closely involved in the division’s routine operations. As a command officer, you may have responsibilities for incident response and emergency support when needed.
